Finding Confidence Through Creative Expression

The Performing Arts Studio invites children to discover the joy of creative expression through singing, storytelling, theater, and movement in a welcoming, process-based environment. Inspired by the energy and teamwork of a show choir or a children's "Glee Club," students learn age-appropriate songs with simple choreography while exploring acting, character development, improvisation, creative movement, and theatrical scenes. Each class is thoughtfully designed to nurture confidence, collaboration, and authentic self-expression while encouraging every child to find their own voice.

Rather than focusing on perfect performances, each class celebrates creativity, courage, and personal growth. Students build vocal skills, stage presence, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving through engaging rehearsals, theater games, and collaborative projects. Whether singing with the ensemble, developing a character, or stepping into a scene for the first time, every child is encouraged to participate in a way that feels meaningful and supportive. Activities are thoughtfully adapted to meet children where they are, allowing each learner to be challenged and celebrated at their own pace.

The school year culminates in the Wonderli Learning Showcase, where families gather to celebrate students' creativity through an inspiring gallery exhibition and collaborative stage performance. Performing Arts Studio students share their learning through a joyful ensemble presentation featuring songs, storytelling, and theatrical scenes, while Creative Arts Studio students contribute the artwork, scenery, props, and visual elements that help bring the performance to life. Together, the two studios create a unique celebration where visual and performing arts come together, highlighting every child's creativity and the power of creating as a community.
